Courtney Martin is a returning 2024-2025 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow. Courtney teaches 2nd grade math and science at David Outley Sr. Elementary in Houston. He is math lead, National Elementary Honor Society advisor, and the site leader for the after-school program. Courtney is a member of the District Education Improvement Council and has served as a chair of the committee. Courtney is entering his 12th year as an educator. He graduated from Texas A&M University-Texarkana with a BS in interdisciplinary studies and MS in curriculum and instruction. He has also completed a principal certification program at Stephen F. Austin University.
