Tyler McBride is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Arkansas Policy Fellow. Tyler is a 6th-grade English language arts teacher and multi-classroom leader at Lincoln Middle School in Lincoln, Arkansas. In his role as multi-classroom leader, Tyler coaches ELA and social studies teachers in his school to improve their instruction through student-centered learning. Over the past 10 years teaching in middle school, he has taught English and social studies in 6th through 8th grades. Tyler is a member of the Northwest Arkansas Writing Project, where he previously served on the leadership team of an initiative to support early career educators. He earned his BA in English and journalism and his MA in teaching from the University of Arkansas.
