Clair McCoy is a returning 2024-2025 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow and the culture of excellence specialist at Dewberry Elementary School in Forney. In her support role, she promotes the growth and development of teachers while improving campus culture. Prior to her current role, she taught 3rd grade. Clair is in her seventh year as an educator and began her teaching career in Louisiana as a 4th and 5th grade math teacher. She is a member of the Educator Collective. Clair studied at Southern University A&M College where she received a BS in business management and an MBA. She completed an alternative certification in elementary education.
