Clair McCoy is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow. Clair is a 3rd grade teacher at Blackburn Elementary in Forney, Texas. Clair is in her sixth year as an educator and began her teaching career in Louisiana as a 4th and 5th grade math teacher. She is a member of the Educator Collective. Clair studied at Southern University A&M College where she received a BS in business management and an MS of business administration. She completed an Alternative Certification in elementary education.
