Monique McKenney is a 2024-2025 Philadelphia Affinity Group Network Facilitator and is a high school history teacher and Bridge Leadership advisor at Central High School. She teaches students in honors and AP courses inquiry, research, collaboration, and communication skills in order to cultivate students who care for and help fellow humans and are lifelong learners. Monique began her teaching career in the School District of Philadelphia and throughout the years has taught students from grade 9 through adults in evening school. She was named a Prentiss-Charney Fellow (2022) and a member of the Last Seen Ads PLC (2022-2023). Monique earned her BSEd in secondary education/social studies from Temple University and her MSEd in educational administration from Gwynedd-Mercy University.
