Michael Faccinetto is a 2021-2022 Pennsylvania Senior Policy Fellow who teaches 5th grade ELA and social studies at Joseph P. Liberati Intermediate School in Center Valley. He previously taught 5th grade ELA at Central Elementary School in the Allentown School District. In addition to teaching, Michael has served as the president of the Bethlehem Area School District Board of School Directors for 11 years and was the president of the Pennsylvania School Boards Association. In 2019, PSBA inducted Michael into the prestigious Allwein Society recognizing his exceptional advocacy efforts for public education. Michael’s school board service ignited his passion for education leading him to make the transition from a family business into the classroom. Michael earned a BS in insurance from Penn State University and a MEd in elementary education from Lehigh University. He is working toward his EdD in educational leadership at Lehigh University.
