Mona Tedder is a 2021-2022 Illinois Teaching Policy Fellow who teaches Algebra 2 at Gordon Bush Alternative Center in East St. Louis. Mona serves as the freshman sponsor for student council and as a member of her school’s competency-based education/skyward transition team. She previously taught 9th, 10th, and 11th grade math at Civic Memorial High School and served on the response to intervention and data team. Mona graduated from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville with a BA in mathematics.
