Tamia Murphy is a 2024-2025 Philadelphia Affinity Group Network Facilitator and a 7th and 8th grade science teacher at Mastery Molina Upper in Camden, New Jersey. Tamia also serves her campus as the science department lead, yearbook and science fair coordinator, and as a coach for basketball, softball, and flag football. Tamia has been teaching for more than 20 years and has been recognized as Molina Upper’s Teacher of the Month and the Staff Spotlight. Tamia holds leadership positions in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. She earned a BS in psychology from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, an MEd in education: curriculum and instruction from the University of Phoenix, and is working on an MEd in education: school administration from Rowan University.
