Amy Nash is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Independence Mission Schools Teacher Leadership Project member and is a 1st-grade teacher, Cadre leader, and teacher leader at St. Malachy School. She teaches math, reading, religion, and social emotional skills to help her students rise to their potential and lay the foundation for their academic careers. Amy began teaching in Philadelphia in 2015 and continues to serve that community today. Amy won the 2019 St. John Neumann Teacher Impact Award. She earned her BA and teaching credential in elementary and special education and American studies from La Salle University. She earned her degree in reading and reading specialty certification from St. Joseph’s University.
