Netanya Even is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow who instructs IB English Language A: Language and Literature at Uplift Williams Preparatory in Dallas. Netanya serves as the 11th grade lead, a role in which she led an initiative recognized by ACT as a model of excellence for low socioeconomic high schools. Throughout her career, Netanya has taught Spanish and won various awards, including Teacher of the Year and Uplift Education Top Hat. She received her MA and PhD in Spanish Literature and an MA in Educational Leadership and Texas principal certification from the University of Wisconsin Madison.
