Rebecca Pariso is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow. Rebecca is a 7th grade math teacher at EO Green Junior High School in Oxnard, California. Her journey is marked by a passion for math education, an innovative spirit, and an unwavering commitment to make math accessible for all California students. Rebecca served as a member of the Curriculum Framework and Evaluation Criteria Committee, where she played a pivotal role in revising the 2023 California Mathematics Frameworks. Rebecca was named Outstanding Teacher of Mathematics by the Ventura County Mathematics Council. She currently serves as the Vice President for the Ventura County Mathematics Council and a team member of the CSU Office of the Chancellor TEAMS project. She earned her BA in liberal studies from California State University, Channel Islands, an MEd with a focus on educational technology from National University, and a preliminary administrative credential from California Lutheran University.
