Nicholas Patey is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus California Emergent Bilingual Change Agent. He is a math and Advanced Placement teacher and Instructional Coach at Golden Valley High School is Santa Clarita, California. Nicholas’ focus is on reaching all students with effective instructional practices, planning and facilitating professional development at his school. Because he has taught all levels and subjects within and been a Mathematics Department Chair, he has a strong understanding of what students need to reach their potential. Nicholas has a bachelor’s degree in math, with a minor in biblical studies, and a master’s degree in education.
