Thaddaeus Peay II is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow. He is an 8th grade social studies teacher at Eisenhower Science and Technology Leadership Academy in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Thaddaeus is the former chair of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Education Committee where he fought for equitable funding in Norristown Area School District. He received the moral and courageous student leader award from Cabrini University (2021). Thaddaeus is the national young adult director for the K.I.N.G Movement and a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. He earned his BS in communications from Bowie State University and his MEd in education from Cabrini University.
