Brittany Purgar is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Michigan Policy Fellow, a PBIS District Coordinator, and a Tier 2 small group leader at Romulus Community Schools in Romulus. She focuses on the implementation of school and district-wide systems that ensure all students have access to the resources needed to be successful at school. Before her current role, Brittany was a teacher leader for 10 years and taught various subjects between 5th and 8th grade. She was an English language arts master teacher who worked with 6th and 7th grade students at Schulze Academy for Technology and Arts. She earned her BS in education from Central Michigan University and a MAT in multiple-subject teaching from the University of Southern California.
