Robyn Queen is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Senior Policy Fellow. Robyn is a K-12 teacher leader and literacy coach within the Pittsburgh Public School District, as well as an education consultant for Everybody Educate. She specializes in teacher effectiveness, providing innovative training and job-embedded coaching for pre-k-8th grade educators. Robyn began her teaching career in Pittsburgh Public School District starting as a substitute teacher, advancing successfully into teacher leadership roles, such as instructional teacher leadership, Family and Community Engagement Coordinator, and literacy academic coaching across multiple schools. Robyn was named the Employee/Educator of the Year by her district. She co-founded Soul Xpressions Inc., where she creates culturally relevant curricula to support high-needs students in discovering, developing, and showcasing their gifts through innovative education and the arts, using Black and African history. Robyn holds a BA in elementary education and an MEd from Edinboro University. She also has certification in Special Education K-12.
