Alfonso Rapun-Mairal is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Chicago Senior Change Agent. Alfonso is a bilingual physical education teacher at Schubert Elementary. He is a member of the instructional leadership team and coordinates the attendance team at his school. Alfonso is a teacher leader for the department of physical education at the office of teaching and learning in Chicago Public Schools and is a member of the curriculum, instruction and assessment team for the Illinois Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. He earned his BA in physical education from the University of Zaragoza, and his MS in teaching and learning with concentration in bilingual education from the University of St. Francis.
