Tamarah Rash is a 2024-2025 Philadelphia Affinity Group Network Facilitator and a 6th grade English language arts and a 6th and 7th grade social studies teacher. In more than 20 years as an educator, Tamarah has formed multiple racial equity committees as part of her commitment to empower her students and peers to recognize, address, and dispel stereotypes, biases, and systematic racism. She is a participant of the Reimagining Gary convention and has been a member of the School District of Philadelphia’s Equity Coalition. Tamarah earned a BS in English and childhood studies from Rutgers-Camden and an MS of instruction from Drexel University.
