Brandy Richardson is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellow and a 7th and 8th-grade special services teacher at Lake Middle School in Lake. She is the case manager for the special education department and serves as the school testing coordinator. Brandy has served on the leadership committee for her school. Brandy was named Lake Middle School Teacher of the Year (2012, 2013, and 2016). Brandy serves her church as Sunday Director which helps to shape her as an educator. Brandy earned a BS degree in secondary education with an emphasis in social studies from Mississippi State University, an MS in secondary education (social studies) from Mississippi College, and an EdS in educational leadership from Mississippi College.
