Atisha Robinson is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Illinois Early Childhood Educator Policy Fellow and a preschool teacher at Wendell Smith Elementary in Chicago. She focuses on ensuring developmentally appropriate teaching practices while engaging children in learning. Atisha has served on the instructional leadership team, a math cohort member, as well as sub-teams for instruction and CIWP. Atisha was awarded Most Valuable Player and Sharer of Best Practices. She is an IPA member and certified teacher evaluator and has taught Pre-K through third grade. She earned her BA in Psychology from Northern Illinois University, a professional teaching license from University of Illinois at Chicago, an MA in Counseling from Argosy University, and an MA in Educational Leadership with a principal endorsement from Chicago State University.
