Sarah Mascarenas is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Nevada Teaching Policy Fellow. Sarah is a Teacher On Special Assignment (TOSA) for the assessment department in Washoe County School District, and a math instructional coach/interventionist at O’Brien STEM Academy and Cold Springs Middle School. Sarah provides leadership and professional development in the articulation and implementation of curricular tools, research, strategies, and curriculum. She serves as a cadre member for the Department of Professional Learning and an advocate for the Student Achievement Partners. Sarah graduated from University of Nevada, Reno wish a BS in Elementary Education and received her MEd in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education.
