Michaelene Sepesy is a 2024-2025 Harmony School Leader Advisory Cabinet Member. She is entering her 21st year in education with Harmony Public Schools as the Principal of Harmony School of Science Elementary in El Paso, Texas. Dr. Sepesy began her career as a math teacher, then advanced to roles as a District Instructional Coach and District Director of Academics. In 2020, she became the Founding Principal of a new preK-8 campus. Over the past four years, she has led the school as it achieved local, state, and national recognitions. Dr. Sepesy holds a BA in political science/pre-law, MEd in mathematics and computer science, and EdD in educational leadership from California University of Pennsylvania. Most recently, she completed the Certificate in School Management and Leadership in collaboration with the Harvard University Graduate School of Education and Harvard Business School.
