Meghann Seril is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus California Educator Diversity Action Network Member. She is a 5th grade teacher at Clover Avenue Elementary in Los Angeles and serves as a new teacher mentor for Los Angeles Unified School District. Meghann has also been a grade-level chair and teacher trainer for the Write from the Beginning Program. She was named Los Angeles Unified School District’s Teacher of the Year (2022), Los Angeles County Teacher of the Year (2022), and California Teacher of the Year finalist (2023). Meghann is National Board certified in the area of Middle Childhood Generalist and was a member of The EdTrust-West Educator’s Advisory Council (2019-2024). Megann earned her BA in psychology and MA in teaching, as well as a multiple subject credential, from the University of Southern California.
