Shadia Ghoneim-Sobel is a Teach Plus California Teaching Policy Fellow who teaches 12th grade Advanced Placement United States Government and Politics, Principles of American Government, and economics at ArTES Magnet High School on the Cesar Chavez Learning Academies Campus in San Fernando. Shadia is a member of the instructional leadership team and serves as the Social Science department chair. She earned a BA in Anthropology and minors in Spanish and Middle Eastern North African Studies, and a MEd in secondary education with an emphasis in Arts Education and Engagement from the University of California, Los Angeles.
