Brittany Sharp is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Colorado Charter Teacher Policy Fellow and an 11th and 12th-grade math teacher at Atlas Preparatory High School in Colorado Springs. She teaches a concurrent enrollment math class through Pikes Peak State College, is piloting a financial literacy curriculum for 12th graders, and is a peer coach on her campus. Brittany has been the 11th and 12th grade team lead and has been a mentor teacher for multiple incoming Teach for America Corp Members during their summer practicum. Brittany was a 2023 Denver Broncos Touchdown for Teacher recipient and the 2022 Gryphon of the Year on her campus. Brittany began her teaching career at Atlas as a 2012 Teach for America Corps Member and has taught multiple grade levels and subjects. She earned her BA in liberal studies from California State University, Channel Islands and earned her MA in curriculum and instruction from University of Colorado Denver.
