Shauna Segal teaches Common Core math 6 and 6th grade science at John Burroughs Middle School, where she is also is on the Common Core Cadre helping to design and implement professional development for her school. Shauna is a member of the district’s Secondary Math Leaders’ Collaborative, designing math tasks for use throughout LAUSD. She is a Building Educator Assessment Literacy (BEAL) trained teacher and has previously presented at the gifted symposium for the district. She earned a BS in Psychobiology from UCLA, a Masters of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture, and a MEd in Educational Administration from Concordia University, Irvine.
