Allison Soderberg is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Michigan Policy Fellow and an elementary reading/math intervention teacher with the Forest Park School District in Crystal Falls. Allison’s main focus is teaching foundational reading skills to struggling readers so they can become proficient readers in all subject areas. She mentors teachers, is active in her local union, works with the district’s literacy committee, and helps to lead grade-level data meetings. Allison has twice been honored with Excellence in Education awards by former students. Allison serves on township and county boards that focus on recreation and is a board member of the Crystal Falls Area Community Foundation, which supports graduating students and community projects. Allison earned her BS degree in elementary education with a math major and her MA in administration from Northern Michigan University.
