Diana Cruz Stoltenberg is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Massachusetts Policy Fellow and an AP Spanish: Language and Culture high school teacher, teacher mentor, and member of the Anti-Racism and Action Council at Excel Academy Charter High School in East Boston, Massachusetts. She focuses on supporting initiatives to advocate for high-quality and equitable education for traditionally marginalized students. Diana believes in culturally responsive teaching and the power of sociopolitical awareness to enact meaningful change. She is an Aspiring Latino Leaders Fellow with Latinos for Education and a Project Zero Zaentz Professional Learning Scholar. Diana started her teaching career in Bogotá, Colombia as a social studies high school teacher, and has since taught in Chicago and Boston. She earned her BA in Social Studies from Universidad Distrital in Colombia, and her MEd in Spanish language and culture from Universidad de Álcala de Henares in Spain.
