Swapna Bolleboina Katamaraja is a Teach Plus Commonwealth Teaching Policy Fellow. Swapna is a 6th-8th grade special education teacher at the Higginson-Lewis Middle school, where she is on the instructional leadership team and is one of the founding members of the coding club. She initiated and ran the response to intervention model for students at risk, facilitated grade level team meetings, participated in math leadership and achievement gap committees, and runs a book club for 2nd graders. Swapna has presented at a Harvard business conference. She earned a BA in Commerce from Osmania University, a MA in Psychology from Annamalai University, and a MA in Special Education from the University of Iowa.
