Amy Swartz is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Indiana Policy Fellow and a special education teacher at Greenfield Intermediate School in Greenfield. She serves on the Greenfield Intermediate School leadership team and is a district teacher leader. Amy has K-12 experience as a special educator and was a general education, second-grade teacher early in her career. Amy was named 2022 Greenfield Central Community School District’s Teacher of the Year and a 2023 Indiana Top 25 Teacher. Amy serves on the executive committee for FUSE, a local nonprofit that empowers people with disabilities and mental health needs. She earned her BS in Elementary and Special Education from Huntington University.
