Dr. Montaire Taylor is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Equity Leadership Institute member and school counselor at Evergreen Elementary in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. He is chairperson of the K-12 school counseling department. Montaire began his career as a Head Start teacher then transitioned to school social worker/home and school visitor. He is a member of the American School Counselor Association and Pennsylvania School Counselor Association. Montaire has a bachelor’s degree in developmental psychology and master’s degrees in K-12 administration, school counseling, and social work. His doctorate is in educational leadership.
