Dr. Rhonda Threet is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Senior Policy Fellow. Rhonda is a Learning Environment Specialist with the Pittsburgh Public School District and an associate professor with Point Park University. She works with leadership teams, teachers and administrators with creating an equitable learning environment that fosters positive outcomes, including but not limited to facilitating equity. Rhonda has taught grades 1-3 for most of her teaching career. She also taught math in grades 1-5 for a short time at the start of her career. Rhonda was a recipient of the Social Impact grant from Point Park University’s Community Engagement. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She earned her BA in Africana Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, her MSEd in Elementary Education from Duquesne University, and her PhD in Community Engagement from Point Park University with a PA Administrator’s certification.
