Tiffany Davis is a 2020-21 Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellow. She is a kindergarten teacher at Webb Kindergarten Preparatory School in Greenville, Mississippi. An educator for over 2 decades, she served her hometown district as a classroom teacher, lead teacher, mentor, and administrator. She served on numerous school and district level advisory panels, most recently serving on the Superintendent’s Advisory. She was named Teacher of the Year at Akin Elementary in 2003 and again at her current school in 2019. After achieving National Board Certification in the area of Early Childhood Generalist (2005), she served as an adjunct instructor in elementary education for Mississippi Valley State University (2003-2012). Tiffany recently completed the NEA Teacher Leadership Institute (2018-2019) Teacher Fellowship. She earned her BS degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi Valley State (1996), an MEd in Elementary Education, an MEd in Educational Leadership, as well as an EdS in Elementary Education from Delta State University.
