Chimille Tillery is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Illinois Affinity Group Facilitator and Director of Curriculum and Instruction at New Trier Township High School in Winnetka, Illinois. She leads a comprehensive professional development program, new teacher induction and mentoring, new leader induction and mentoring, standardized testing and testing center, and special curricular programs. Chimille began her education career in 1996 as a high school biology and microbiology teacher. She served as the science department chair and professional development coordinator at a high school, and spent a few years as a middle school assistant principal. She earned a BS in biological sciences from University of Illinois at Chicago, MEd in secondary education from DePaul University, MA in educational administration from Governor’s State University, and an EdD in educational leadership with a superintendent endorsement from National Louis University.
