Thomas Quinn is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow who teaches social studies in Philadelphia and serves as the lead organizer of PA Youth Vote. He was dubbed a “collaborating octopus” by the Philadelphia Citizen for his work building a network of students, educators, and organizations focused on getting 8,000 public school students to the polls every Election Day. He was awarded the President’s Award by the Pennsylvania Council for Social Studies, and was named a Philadelphia Integrity Icon by the Accountability Lab. Thomas graduated from Temple University with a BA in History, received his Principal Certification from Drexel University, and his MA in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of San Francisco.
