Tory Tripp is a Teach Plus Colorado Teaching Policy Fellow. She teaches 8th grade math and Algebra 1 at Martin Luther King, Jr. Early College, where she sits on the school governance board. A mentor teacher with the Denver Teacher Residency, Tory previously served as leader of the 8th grade team and middle school math department. Tory also coaches both middle and high school soccer, leading the middle school boys to their first city championship in 2015. Before teaching in Denver, Tory was a project coordinator in the Office of School Turnaround at Washington, D.C. Public Schools. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Sociology and earned her MA in Urban Education from the University of Denver.
