Mucahit Ismail Turel is a 2024-2025 Harmony School Leader Advisory Cabinet Member. He is Assistant Area Superintendent of College and Career for Harmony Public Schools North Texas, located in Dallas, Texas, overseeing college counseling and career readiness programs that ensure students are prepared for their future academic and professional endeavors. Prior to this, Mucahit served as Principal of Harmony Science Academy in El Paso, where he implemented numerous academic and extracurricular initiatives that significantly improved student performance. He began his career as an engineering and computer science teacher and has also held positions as a high school counselor and Director of High School Academics. Mucahit has received recognition for his contributions to education, including awards for innovative leadership and excellence in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education. He holds an MEd in educational technology.
