Allison Walker is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus California Educator Diversity Action Network Member. She is a Program Specialist administrator serving at Orange Glen High School in Escondido, California. As a teacher, Allison focused on teaching literacy to students on Individual Education Programs (IEPs) and emergent bilinguals helped to enhance their reading and writing. Allison is a current site administrator where she focuses on supporting education specialists, instructional assistants and students with IEPs. She was awarded Escondido Union School District’s “Season for Nonviolence” Teacher (2022-2023). Allison earned a BA in global studies and a minor in education from University of California, Santa Barbara; and Master’s in special education and Administrative Credential from National University.
