Paul Walsh is 2022-2023 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow and a high school English and creative writing teacher at Liberty High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where he also serves on the district’s equity task force. Paul began his teaching career as an English instructor at the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts. He went on to develop a four-year intensive literary arts program for students grades 9 through 12 as the Artistic Director of the Literary Arts. Paul is a head coach for a Senior Legion baseball team. He earned his BS in Secondary English Education, his MA in English Literature, and his EdD in Transformational Teaching and Learning each from Kutztown University.
