John Wells is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Indiana Policy Fellow who teaches English and the dual-credit Intro to Public Speaking course at F. J. Reitz High School in Evansville through the University of Southern Indiana. John leads his grade-level professional learning committee and serves as an adjunct professor at Ivy Tech Community College, where he teaches Composition I and II. John is the president-elect of the Indiana Connector Educators and chairs its professional development committee. He was recently named to the Central Indiana Educational Service Center’s Innovation Coaches program. He earned his MA in secondary education from the University of Southern Indiana.
