Lisa Wennerth is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Colorado Policy Fellow. Lisa is a high school English teacher at Windsor High School in Windsor, Colorado. She is the department lead and a member of the school’s strategic plan leadership committee where she focuses on equitable assessments, learning over grades using feedback models, and positive climate building. Lisa is also a blog post editor and contributor for Teachers Going Gradeless, a platform for educators exploring assessment practices. She also contributes writing pieces about education on The Human Restoration Project. She earned her BA in English from Kenyon College, Gambier OH, and an MA in English with an emphasis on English Education from Colorado State University, Fort Collins.
