Dani Jo White-Yelito is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Massachusetts Policy Fellow and a biotechnology and biology teacher at Greater Lowell Technical High School in Lowell. She is the Environmental Green Club leader and a curriculum developer for Unified Curriculum on her campus. She previously taught physics and environmental science for high school and middle school levels. Danielle was accepted as a participant in the “Labor and Landscape: Lowell as Nineteenth-Century Crucible” program; received the Woburn SEPAC Award; and was honored as a SONIC Teacher. She is certified as a trainer for Population Education and is a member of Groton Hill’s Professional Flute Orchestra. She earned her BS in music teacher education and biology/environmental studies from Ithaca College, an MA in music from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a certificate in integrating technology into the classroom from the University of La Verne.
