Kimberly Williams is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellow and a K-5 health and physical education elective teacher leader, assistant test coordinator, and community partnership liaison at McCoy Elementary in Yazoo City. She focuses on teaching children in the areas of math, social/emotional learning, health, nutrition, and physical fitness to foster healthy living and lifestyle choices that will aid them in sustaining a growth mindset. Kimberly also serves as a 4th and 5th-grade math consultant with Kirkland Group’s 21st Century Program and has previously served as an Early Head Start teacher monitor, elective teacher lead, and elective teacher mentor. She earned her BA in health sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi, and her MS in science and leadership and MA in teaching from Belhaven University.
