Brooks Wilson is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow and a pre-kindergarten teacher at the Parent Infant Center in West Philadelphia. Brooks focuses heavily on social and emotional development and on new teacher mentoring, and environmental stewardship. Brooks received the Excellence in Teaching Honorarium from the Community College of Philadelphia and serves as an advisor for children’s programming for Philadelphia’s public programming, WHYY. Brooks earned his BA in Fine Art from Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia, and his MEd in Early Childhood Education at Capella University.
