Linda Wilson is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Illinois Affinity Group Facilitator and is a music teacher and director of the Peoria Grow Your Own program at Peoria Public Schools. Linda also supports teacher candidates in their journey to become teachers. Linda has taught second grade, third grade, technology, and SEL. Linda is also the political and diversity director for Peoria Federation of Teachers Local 780. She is the 2023 recipient of the 2023 University United Methodist Black Community Leader Award. She has a BA in Early Childhood Education from Bradley University, an MA in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Xavier University and an MS in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University.
