Tamaralyn Wilson is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow. She is a Teacher on Special Assignment (Initiative Lead and Instructional Coach) at the Chester County Learning Center in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, supporting her colleagues in the implementation of effective classroom management practices and focusing on the role emotional well-being plays in students’ success. Tamaralyn began her career as a 5th grade teacher at a charter school in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, also serving as a teacher in residential placements for adjudicated youth and approved private academic schools for children with severe emotional needs. She serves on the Internal Affairs committee for Trellis for Tomorrow, a nonprofit that readies students for future careers. Tamaralyn earned her BS in elementary education and special education, specializing in urban education from Millersville University and a MSW from Boston University. She is pursuing principal certification from Gannon University.
