Mollie Wright is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Texas Senior Policy Fellow who teaches English at Garland High School in Garland. She was previously a Distinguished Teacher of English at Dr. Emmett J. Conrad High School in Dallas and an English teacher with the Puente Project at James Logan High School in Union City, California. Her earliest forays into classroom teaching began during and after college when she served as a WorldTeach Volunteer ESL teacher in Costa Rica and a Peace Corps Volunteer ESL teacher on the island of Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia. A member of NCTE and TCTELA, she holds a BA in English from Harvard College and an EdM in language and literacy education from Boston University.
