Nandita Yadava is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Illinois Affinity Group Facilitator and is a 2nd grade teacher at Westbrook Elementary School in Glenview. She is a team leader for her team, mentor for her school, and Equity Facilitator and representative of the Education Committee for the District. She has been on the Compensation committee, helped create science units for 2nd grade, and has also been the Summer School Principal and Instructional Coach for the District. Nandita was a recipient of the “Those who Excel” co-teaching award through ISBE. She earned her BA from the University of Illinois, her Masters in Education from DePaul University, and a Type 75 leadership endorsement from Concordia University.
