Connor Allman

As Chief of Staff, Connor Allman supports the CEO and the Senior Leadership Team in shaping and implementing organizational strategy, planning, and communications to optimize Teach Plus’s operations and impact.

Before joining Teach Plus, Connor was the Founder and President of Brackney Consulting, a company that provides tailored fractional Chief of Staff services that expand capacity within schools, systems, and organizations to achieve excellent results. Services include strategic planning and implementation, organizational effectiveness, design and facilitation, and executive coaching.

Connor began his career in education teaching English at an elementary school in Suzhou, China in 2005. He returned home to join New York City Teaching Fellows as a Fourth Grade teacher in Washington Heights. Upon moving to Denver in 2010, Connor served DSST Public Schools as a founding English Teacher, middle school administrator, and network leader. He went on to advance professional learning strategy at Denver Public Schools’ central office, to accelerate equitable outcomes in Aurora Public Schools as the Chief of Staff for the Office of Autonomous Schools, and to help districts across the country navigate the pandemic through multiple leadership roles at Instruction Partners.

Connor holds a BA in English and Theater from Princeton University and a MSEd from The City College of New York. He lives in Oklahoma City with his partner.
