As Executive Assistant to the CXO and the Center for Inspired Teaching & Exceptional Learning Emily will provide administrative support to enhance efficiency and impact by facilitating communication between the External Affairs function and stakeholders, tracking action items, and ensuring timely follow-through. Additionally, she will support operational strategies and special projects for the Center for Inspired Teaching & Exceptional Learning (the CITEL).
Before joining Teach Plus, Emily had a diverse 20-year career that included significant roles in major financial institutions, consulting across various industries, and even a stint in the wine industry. Emily broadened her experience through consulting, aiding businesses in consumer goods, professional development, natural resources, and travel. Emily is now applying her skills in the philanthropic sector, where she supports executives and development teams.
Emily holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She grew up in Reno, Nevada, has lived in six different states (along with a brief period in France), and currently resides in Savannah, Georgia, with her loving, high-maintenance, and perpetually shedding Shiba Inu, Wilma.
