A member of Teach Plus’ Senior Leadership Team, Jason Carpp (he/him) is responsible for setting and leading the development strategy for Teach Plus. He manages a team that supports regional fundraising across 12 states, and leads efforts to build and cultivate relationships with national funders alongside the CEO and Chief of Policy, Planning & External Affairs. Transitioning to development in 2015, Jason has served as the lead fundraising partner for three Teach Plus CEO’s, overseen the expansion of regional fundraising from the ground up, and mostly recently nearly doubled the organization’s annually raised revenue and operating reserves during a global pandemic.
Jason joined Teach Plus in 2013 as the T3/Massachusetts Program Manager, overseeing district and school relationships for sites leveraging teacher leadership as a solution to persistent challenges facing students on their paths to opportunity and attainment. Prior to Teach Plus, Jason worked on coordinated school support in New Mexico for the Alliance for a Healthier Generation and Citizen Schools.
A proud AmeriCorps and Grinnell Corps service alumnus, Jason holds a M.Ed. from Lesley University and a B.A. from Grinnell College. He lives in Minneapolis with his wife, three young children, and elderly dog.
